Street is Somersets largest village and the birthplace of Clarks shoes.
One of its main attractions is Clarks Village, the very first outlet shopping centre in the UK, built on the sight of the former shoe factory. With over 90 designer and high street brands, it’s the perfect place for a bit of retail therapy.
Along the high street you will find many independent shops and eateries as well as a market on Thursdays.
Street is also home to the Greenbank Swimming Pool, an open air lido with two pools and a splash park, surrounded by green space in the heart of the village.
Heck’s Cider Farm, selling various arrays of farmhouse cider, is a short distance from the high street and is open daily.
