On the ground floor, you’ll discover a thoughtfully designed living space that includes a separate dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities like an electric hob & oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The kitchen boasts an attractive blue lias stone floor, seamlessly leading into a light and airy dining room with oak flooring, setting the scene for memorable meals and conversations.

As you explore further, our inviting sitting room awaits, furnished with an electric fire, plush leather sofas, TV, and charming pine units. And for your convenience, there’s a downstairs WC, ensuring comfort at every corner of your stay.

As you ascend to the first floor, the master bedroom invites you in with high-quality pine furniture and tasteful soft furnishings. Similarly, the twin room mirrors this quality, creating a serene atmosphere for a restful night’s sleep. Additionally, the bathroom on the first floor offers both a bath with a shower attachment and all the amenities you need, including a WC and basin.

But the allure of Pitts Farm Barn doesn’t end indoors. Venture outside to your private grassed garden, complete with garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for those sunny Somerset days. It’s the ideal spot for outdoor dining or simply soaking in the serene countryside surroundings.

Pristine cottage in a beautiful setting. Sarah and her family could not have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome.The dog exercise field was very useful and safe and the grounds beautifully maintained.I would recommend pre-booking a table at the local pub as we were disappointed to not get a table for dinner.Highly recommend for a peaceful country break.

We probably didn't take full advantage but was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. A nice peaceful and quite weekend away. The cottage is lovely and very clean and tidy. From the moment me and my family arrived, we felt right at home. Kate & Sarah are wonderful hosts. The farm and open space was just what we needed for a long weekend away. The cottage itself was lovely and had everything we needed. Our youngest really enjoyed the private garden and the communal outdoor space. The welcome box was a nice touch, too. Our children enjoyed the games room, but it could do with a few more DVD’s and the air hockey element of the games table to be repaired. It was great getting to know the hosts and their family. They really do work hard to keep the farm running efficiently. If you’re doing days out, we suggest a trip to Montacute House. It’s wonderful for families and the grounds are stunning.
