Snowdrop Month at The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens
1st – 28th February 10.00am-4.00pm
Follow a printed Snowdrop Walk brimming with springtime charm and a children’s trail to add some fun.
Stomp n’ Stamp trail at Dunster Castle and Watermill
15th – 23rd February
Pull your wellies on and enjoy a stomp around the gardens on their Half Term trail, inspired by the Tale of the Snowdrop by Hans Christian Anderson. As winter begins to fade, get excited for spring is on its way.
Also, if you visit on the 15th, you can plant some snowdrops to help the gardeners increase their numbers.
Become a junior detective at Shepton Mallet Prison
15th – 23rd February
Uncover the fascinating history of Shepton Mallet Prison with a Self-Guided Tour, and enjoy an added bonus: a FREE ‘Catch the Convict’ challenge! Explore the prison, solve puzzles clues and riddles to ‘catch’ the notorious convict.
Take your detective skills to the next level with the Super Detective package! Join their lead detective for an action-packed Super Detective Masterclass. In this 1-hour action-packed session, you’ll learn essential detective skills, such as how to analyse a crime scene, take fingerprints, solve puzzles and crack codes!
For the adults, why not try one of the puzzle based Escape rooms. Can you escape a real prison cell?
