Brick Week at Haynes Motor Museum

10th – 18th Feb 2024

10.00am – 4.30pm
Brick Week makes a triumphant return, and this time, there’s an exciting visitor challenge on the horizon! Embrace the inspiration this half-term from the museum’s fantastic assortment of vehicles on 2, 3, and 4 wheels. Channel your creativity into crafting your own car-azy creation, and lend a hand in constructing an actual museum to showcase these masterpieces.

Remember, your brick-built wonders will find a home at the museum and will be proudly displayed on the day of your visit.

Sensational science shows at Fleet Air Arm Museum

12th – 16th Feb

11:00, 12:30, and 14:30.
Join the Explorer Dome team for some absolutely fantastic science shows. Brace yourself for a dazzling array of entertaining and surprising science demonstrations and experiments that the whole family can enjoy.

These shows will give you a sneak peek into some of the fundamental scientific principles, but maybe hold off on trying them at home! The best part? The shows are free with a valid museum ticket. And guess what? Museum tickets are valid for a whole year, offering you a year of free fun!

Half Term at ROAM Rangers

11, 14, 16 February, 10am-1pm

Parents, let your kids have a blast exploring and having fun in the woods. They can take part in woodland activities either on their own or with a few friends. In addition to the usual rope swings, slack-line, mud kitchen, Log-stacle Course, and water wall, they might also do cool stuff like building dens, toasting marshmallows, doing crafts, art, and exploring the woodland, as always that depends on the weather!

Fairy Folk Craft Morning at Ham Hill Country Park

13 February, 10am-11:30pm

Be part of the fun as you engage in various crafts using natural materials to craft your own unique masterpieces to take home! Transform a simple stick into a magical wand, or unleash your creativity by crafting a mystical wizard from a piece of hazel.

The event will take place indoors, ensuring a comfortable experience. Geared towards families with children aged 4-7, it’s a delightful opportunity for creative exploration. The cost is £6.00 per child.

Fun on the Farm at Somerset Rural Life Museum, Glastonbury
